On May 26th, 2025, SEMICON China 2025, as the top event for the global semiconductor industry, was held in SHANGHAI New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) with the theme of “Connect, Collaborate, Innovate”, attracting more than 1,300 exhibitors and 160,000 visitors here. Tronway, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen S.C New Energy Technology Corporation in the section of semiconductor, exhibited its full range of innovative products at Booth 2104 of Exhibition in Hall N2, demonstrating the Chinese breakthroughs, achieved by independent innovation, of high-end equipment.

1. 12-inch Wet Chemical Equipment Shows the Cutting-Edge Advantage

The 12-inch Batch-type Cassette-free Wet Chemical Equipment caught the attention of whole industry. Its success could be credited to the combination of technology inherited from Japan and independent R&D of Tronway. This equipment can meet the process requirement of 45-90nm, with its 100% independently developed software and 95% key parts made in China. During the exhibition, many top-tier clients came to our booth to view the live demo of this equipment and overseas semiconductor clients expressed their recognition to our price competitiveness and outstanding localization service, thus showing great intent of deep cooperation.

2. Leading experts highly praise Tronway’s Equipment Localization Process

During the exhibition, Zuo Guojun, Chairman of S.C, stressed, “Tronway carries the strategic mission of ‘Achieve Fully localization of Semiconductor Equipment with Taking PV Equipment as the Model’. It shall, based on the Japanese cutting-edge technologies, spare no effort to make the layout of advanced cleaning and electroplating equipment of various process come to pass, thereby contributing Chinese wisdom to promoting the development of global semiconductor industry.”

Dr. Zhang Rujing, known ad the father of Chinese semiconductor, also came to the booth of Tronway and spoke highly of the development speed of Tronway. In addition, he pointed out that Tronway still need to stick to the technology-oriented policy and take it as top priority. Only in this way, can the company develop more new equipment. 

Xv Fengjia, R&D director of Tronway, expressed at the exhibition: “client verified data have shown that the key indicators of Tronway’s delivered equipment has reached international leading level and the substitution of domestic products for imported ones has proceeded as expected, which has been acknowledged by our clients. For the 2nd ‘Three-Year Plan’, Tronway will actively seek more market share of ‘new products’ on the basis of ‘6/8’ inch equipment, and will comprehensively implement the goal of more and more new equipment independently developed by Tronway in Changzhou, with the backup of Shenzhen S.C.” 

3. Three-Year Relentless effort Set up the Industrial Standards

Since its founding in September, 2020, Tronway, with the accumulated experience of high-end equipment manufacturing of Shenzhen S.C during the past 20 years, has successfully filed for almost 100 patents. With this, Tronway has achieved independent development across the whole process of wet chemical equipment and its products covered the fields of 6-12inches wafer fabrication, third generation semiconductor(SiC/GaN) and advanced packaging.
